Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their disability, device or way of browsing. This statement explains what we've done, what we know isn't perfect yet, and how to tell us about a problem.
The standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across this website.
What we've done
- Text and buttons have a colour contrast of at least 4.5 to 1, and most are far higher.
- We use Atkinson Hyperlegible, a typeface designed by the Braille Institute for readers with low vision, and we avoid italics.
- Every form field has a visible label, and error messages are written out in words, not shown by colour alone.
- You can use the whole page with a keyboard, with a clear focus outline showing where you are.
- We write in plain English and keep pages short.
- We don't use an accessibility overlay. We fix problems in the page itself.
What we know isn't perfect yet
- This site is built on Squarespace. Some parts, such as the header, menus and cookie banner, come from the platform and we can't fully control them.
- Our Founding Signatory form uses Google Forms. Uploading a logo there needs a Google account. If that's a barrier, email your logo to us instead.
- We're still testing the site with screen readers and with disabled users ahead of our full launch in 2027, and we'll update this statement with what we find.
Tell us about a problem
If something on this site doesn't work for you, or you need information in a different format, please email hello@accessiblemarketinginstitute.co.uk. Tell us the page and what happened. We'll reply within 5 working days.
